What is a high-efficiency (HR) CV-ketel?
HR means high efficiency: the CV-ketel extracts extra heat from flue gases and therefore uses less gas.
High-efficiency (HR) CV-ketels have been the standard in the Netherlands since the 1990s. They extract extra heat from flue gases via a heat exchanger, making efficiency higher than older conventional CV-ketels — often above 100% on the energy label scale. That means lower gas consumption and lower energy bills. All modern Remeha CV-ketels we install are high-efficiency models. Still have an older CV-ketel (non-condensing)? Replacing it with an HR CV-ketel is often a smart investment.
