Does a heat pump replace my CV-ketel?
It can, depending on your home. Sometimes a hybrid solution is the best step.
A heat pump can fully replace your CV-ketel (all-electric) or partly take over (hybrid). With a hybrid heat pump — such as the Remeha Elga Ace — your existing CV-ketel stays as backup while the heat pump handles most of the heating. That often suits existing homes with radiators. An all-electric heat pump replaces the CV-ketel completely and works well when your home is well insulated or has underfloor heating.
